Word mail merge doesn't see all contacts in Excel

When I do a mail merge in Word pulling in a list of contacts from Excel, only
the first 104 contacts are found. What's wrong?

You have to provide more details...
Office version?
How is the data organized n Excel?
How do you actually perform the merge?
etc.
