Scaling will apply only if you're using Word 2000 or above and tracked
changes only if you're using Word 2002.
Scaling: In the Print dialog, there are settings to print multiple pages on
a sheet or to scale a document to a different paper size. Some printer
drivers also provide scaling options (in the printer Properties).
Tracked changes: In some earlier versions I believe this was called
"revision marking." It's turned on by Tools | Track Changes or
double-clicking TRK on the status bar. When you are tracking changes,
inserted text is (by default) underlined and deleted text struck through,
but both are still present. In Word 2002, if you are tracking changes or if
you insert comments, the insertions and comments are by default shown in
"balloons" (like callouts) in the margin, and Word shrinks the document to
allow room for the balloons. If you have even a single comment in the
document and are printing from a view "showing markup," the default print
choice is "Document showing markup," even though you may be printing a
single page that doesn't have a comment on it.
