Word merge envelpes

Hi, I have for days been trying to figure this out and have bought a couple of books but still am in square one, anyone that has the solution please Help. I bought the word 2003 and upon using the envelope merge everything is fine untill I go into edit individual recipients I go in make the changes and I can't go back to the mail merge in the same way that I was using it , It takes me to start all over again and from the one that I was using I cant access the merge buttons to go back and forthe with the arrows I dont know why if I alredy have a document set up and am just making changes to each specific record I cant continue with the original merge

anyone out there that has an answer , please help me get out of this on

If you change the data file, you need to re-run the merge.
