Word 'multi-user edit' capability added to PowerPoint

In large work groups [especially those in different buildings or on different
floors) , it would be very useful to have the 'edit/revision' capabilities
[similar to Word] work in PowerPoint - now users/reviewers can only send
messages saying 'change it' etc...rather than providing exact wording or
reformatting at the exact desired place.

Another idea, although a bit more involved, is to make a "base presentation"
that opens broken-out sections of the original slideshow. This allows for
each section to be edited independently and simultaneously.

After all the edits are completed, the slideshow sections can be re-joined
together or left to run from the base presentation.
