Word Not Opening Properly Maximized

This has just started...

If i start Word, it opens and takes up about 75% of the screen, which is
apparently the "maximized" status...

I can manually enlarge it, but thats from a minimized position...

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

The version of Word and the operating system you are using may have some
bearing on the issue.

I have Office 2003 and WinXP...the other components, suchas Excel, and
Outlook work fine...

So I'm not sure what the issue would/could be...

Hmmm, if this is happening at the "Maximized" as opposed to "windowed"
stretched to full screen, I would say that the registry entry for Word
is storing the wrong "full screen" dimensions. If you adjust the screen
resolution and cycle Word from windowed to fullscreen and back to
windowed, does it then use the full desktop?

Thanks for the reply...I had my IT guys reinstall it and all seem sto be
working properly now...
