Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Since our upgrade to 10.52, new clients cannot save properly in Word; they save a document seemingly OK but when they attempt to save again they get the error message:
"Word cannot save this document due to a naming or permissions error on the destination volume."
A workfile is then created each time the user tries to save the document in his/her document folder. I have changed the LOCATION in Word 2004 Preferences, and still get the same error, and yet, our faculty workgroup is not having this problem....only the new student workgroups created in OS 10.52.
Apple blames it on Microsoft...all I know is that everything worked until I moved up to 10.5.
Can anyone help salvage our $5000 investment in Office 2004 (bought last year)????
Thanks!
