I am having a problem opening a Word object in the notes page of a
Powerpoint slide.
To create the object I go to the notes view in Powerpoint and select
Insert -> Object -> Microsoft Word Document
This creates a new Word document in a box on the notes page. I can close the
box and open it again by double-clicking on it and it works...as long as I
haven't left that slide.
If I leave that slide and come back to it, I get the following message:
The server application, source file, or item can't be found, or returned an
unknown error. You may need to reinstall the server application.
I'm just using this software at home, no server involved. I am running
Office XP and Windows XP (Home edition).
Anyone have any ideas what the problem is?
