Word (Office 2000) Not Operating Properly

L

Laurie S

I have Office 2000-Pro (previously had Small Business
Version). Pro had been working fine (along w/ Small
business still installed)... Now Word is not operating
properly... When I open it up I do not get the Menu
options at the top or any toolbars... It's like I only
have the document open w/out the word Shell (make sense).
I uninstalled both versions of Office 2000 and re-
installed Pro... still the same problem...

I made some adjustments to my machine but that was after
Word had its original problem, so I'm a bit unsure what to
do...

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Laurie

Hi Laurie,

While you can mix two different Office versions,
such as 2000 and XP(2002) mixing two editions
of the same 2000 series can cause odd problems.
You may want to remove one of the two 2000 packages
then repair the other one.

This may also help with the menus in Word:
