I am operating on xp. I can open word retreve a file and then before I can
do anything an error message comes up and shuts me down. I have tried to
repair from the original disk and also reinstalled. I have tried to rename
Normal to normal.old still no help here is the message:AppName: winword.exe

The error message is coming from your HP printer driver. Try deleting and
reinstalling the printer (preferably with an updated driver from
www.hp.com).
