How can I show embedded commands (and remove them) to my
students to whom I am teaching MSWord?

I think they'll better understand what they are doing,
hence learn more quickly if they can see these commands
and realize that the command keys they press are actually
inserting these commands which the software is following.

I have an idea you're talking about "Reveal Codes," and there is no such

Hi Guys

There is a third party software which reveal codes just
like Wordperfect, it's called crosseyes. A trial version
can be downloaded from download.com

Or if your using Word XP view the reveal formatting Task
Pane, not as good as reveal codes but may help.
