Word- Open dialog box size

Recnetly, in Word, when I select File, Open, the Open dialog box size is maximized to
larger than the visible screen size. I can see the Open and Cancel buttons in the
lower right of the screen but cannot see the window resize "drag" point below the
buttons. I have tried changing the screen resolution to a higher resolution hoping
for a smaller window size where I could see the drag point. All other open windows
do get smaller but the Word File, Open window just got larger to fill the screen
again. I can resize the Word document window all OK. It is just the Open window
that is too large for the screen. Any idea how I can get control of this window size
again?

Alt + Spacebar selects the Control Menu. From there you can select resize or
move (use the keyboard arrow keys to adjust).

Great! Thanks. I probably got it maximized accidentally and then couldn't see the
corner to drag it back.
