Word Opening Problems

Cannot open Word or Word Documents never had this problem
before. Just freezes I then press ctrl/alt/del to get a
message 'Resources Dangerously Low' do you want to close
application starts with 'Winword' through 'Explorer' etc.
Have expanded Graphics Memory to full, run thorough scan
disc defragmented etc. All other applications on
the 'Office 2000 suite' work fine. Am running on Windows
ME any help truly appreciated. As you can probably
appreciate I am a novice looking for help.

I had the same problem exactly last night
I got an error message also OE:0177:BFF8E64B
I am a novice also, looking for help

Had the same problem last week. A suggestion from 'm'
worked - Locate the file normal.dot and rename it as
oldnormal.dot This fixed Word immediately.
