word opens in visual basic instead of Word.doc

I did something in Visual Basic and now every time
I open Word, Visual Basic opens and I cant get
a blank page in Word unless I go thru the process
of cancelling and 'enabling macros' box

As a first step, try the following:
Windows Explorer, Right Mouse click on a Word file, Open with..., Choose
Program, select Word, check the box "Always use the seelcted program to open
this kind of file".
Hopefully this should reset the file asociation and stop the VBA editor
activation.

This is for XP and prior, could be different for Vista.

Also check your security setting, which could be too high.
