Word opens up in a small window!

Microsoft Word always opens up in a small window after restarting. It never
used to be this way until I went to an site on Internet Explorer that linked
to a .doc doc in a small window. How can I fix this? Thanks!

Try opening two Word small windows. Maximize the second. Close the first.
Next new window may be maximized. If that doesn't work, try reversing the
order of maximize/close.

Select the launch icon for Word with right click /Properties
Under Shortcut/Run/Maximized
