word opens with a previous file already typed

When I open WORD it comes up with a previous file already typed on the page.
I can get rid of it. Each time I open word it comes back. If I delete the
page and type something else and print, it still prints the original info I
deleted as well as what I typed over it. It is the strangest thing. I tried
reinstalling the software and it still does it. I also try the fix errors
option. I can't get rid of this page. Every time I open WORD it is there.
It also keeps a crazy page set up.
