The Startup folder is a couple of levels below a hidden folder, which is why
your search didn't find it.

In My Computer (formerly called Windows Explorer), click Tools > Folder
Options > View and check the option to show hidden folders and files. Then
search again.

An alternative (assuming Office was installed with the default settings) is
to type or paste the path

%appdata%\Microsoft\Word\Startup

into the address bar of My Computer and press Enter. That should work even
when the hidden folders option is turned off.
