Word Options - File Locations.

Previously, when I browsed to a new folder, Word would remember that folder
then next time I inserted a picture. But it took me a long time to get to
that first folder.

So

Under 'Tools' "Options" "File locations"

I changed the folder labeled 'clipart pictures'
Now whenever I click the "insert picture" I get that folder. But, if I
browse to a new folder, Word will not remember the new folder, but will
revert back to the folder that I typed into the "file locations"

I decided that I was better off with the default, but now word won't let me
remove my default folder.


Any suggestions?

You should be able to change the default for "Clipart pictures" at any time.
In what way will Word not let you change it? BTW, if you have Word 2002,
it's convenient to add a frequently used picture folder to the Places Bar
for the period when you're using it; then it's just one click away in the
Insert Picture dialog.
