Only recently it happend that Excel files as well as Word files do not open
when I double click them in explorer. It opens the program but the screen is
blank. I can open the files by using "file open" command.
I have unchecked the box in Excel "ignore other ......DDE" and it is till
not working! I have done a MS Office repair but still not reaction.
I am running Office 2007. Powerpoint works fine and opens all the files. I
have not seen any useful solutions so far on the Internet that helps.
Any ideas? Not sure if it happened after the last batch of MS updates.
Another odd things is that newly created documents do open?!
