word pad error & others.....explorer error while surfing the net

I can not figure out how to get rid of errors that keep
popping up and causeing me to crash.....
1- explorer error comes up and closes my program down and
I get a blank screen..no icons that is
2- I tried to open a document that got sent to me in word
and it won't let me.....error.....and when I tried to undo
it is not even highlighted for me to do it with.......can
anyone help..?

These sound like subjects for a Windows NG, especially if you do not have
Word and are trying to open a Word document in WordPad.

have you recieved any solutions to your problem. I am
recieving an error in word pad also. My error is say this
program has performed an illegal operation and will be
shut down. If you know how I can get my word pad working
again please let me know. Thank you!!!
