word page border

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I created a page border for a simple word doc, but when i go to print it, only the the top and sides print , not the bottom. I thought it was a printer error, but it the bottom border doesn't appear on print preview ???
