word para marks

I extracted text from a ppt doc with VBA to a txt doc and then pasted it into
Word to edit. Many of the para marks though are not real para marks, so Word
doesn't recognize them as end of paras (and I can;lt edit properly). I can't
figure out what they are to replace them - I have tried all the likely
candidates under Find, More, Special - they are not e.g. para characters or
manual line breaks. With hidden formatting characters shown, they LOOK like
paragraph marks.

Help appreciated.

Can you replace it by searching for ^13 ?
If not, select the character and use the following macro to identify it.
