Word photos not appearing in document

I created a Word document years ago with Word 97 and pasted several photos
into it. I have upgraded to Word 2002 and now when I open the document the
photos only show up when they feel like it. Some times not at all, and
sometimes only a couple at a time. What gives?

Since they show up some times, but not others, it sounds like a video driver
issue to me. You might try changing hardware acceleration and see if that
helps at all.
