Word pop up

Whenever I open word I get this message "The command cannot be performed
because a dialog box is open. Click OK, and then close open dialog boxes to
continue."

I see no open dialog boxes, can anyone help?

Most common reason is Norton Anti Virus. You need to open NAV and under
preferences, disable the Office Plugin.
