Word Portrait/Landscape

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: intel

Everytime I open a new document in word it automatically uses landscape mode and I have to manually change to portrait. How do I change it back so that it automatically does portrait not landscape?

Didn't we answer that one yesterday?

Close all other documents, use File>Open to edit your Normal template, set
it to Portrait, and Save, then quit Word.
