word, power point, publisher wont "save as"

I'm using Office Student Teacher 2003, and just installed Publisher 2003.
I've received all current updates, but now Publisher, Word, and Power Point,
will not "save as" and I get the message..."this program is not responding"
All of the above programs were working fine, don't know what to do! I've
rebooted, done system restore, even installed Publisher 2003, since only
Publisher 2002 was giving me this problem, I thought it was just that
program. Help!

I scouted through other similar problems and went to
hhtp://www.techweb.com/article/showArticle.jhtml?articleId=185303742&pgno=2
which then led me to Kelly"s Korner, on page 2 of the above mentioned
article, and it worked!! (At least so far, I'm a bit skeptical as it seemed
very easy.) We'll see if applications are still working tomorrow! Anyway,
I'm much happier now! Thanks for your help!
