Our printers are mainly Ricoh machines. We have a couple of HP's as well.
We have number (a lot!!) of documents pre-set to print from tray 2 for
letterhead and the rest from tray x for plain which works fine with the
Ricohs.
The problem is that the HP does not interpret this setting in the document
as its own Tray 2 - so when we print that document to a HP, it comes out all
on plain. When you check the tray settings after switching to the HP, they
have all automatically changed to 'automatic' or thereabouts.
My theory is that the drive maps Trays differently for the HP.
The question is, is there a way around it??
Thanks!
