word printing question

Kalle Saarinen

Hello,

I have word documents that are shared with meny users. When people print
these docs I want the prints to include text "unsupervised copy" or
something like that. But I don't want the text to be visible in the
document.

Anyway I can do this?

Thanks

One possibility is to place "unsupervised copy" in a header or footer
formated as "Hidden Text" and then in the Print options turn on Printing
of Hidden Text while leaving "Hidden Text" turned off in Edit.

Hi Kalle,

You might check into the Print field (Insert/Field) which allows you
to send instructions to the printer. Now what instructions your
printer understands is printer-specific and should be found in the
printer documentation.
