The Word 97 Pro "save" feature does not save a document
name properly - the save feature only accepts letters and
numbers for the title name - all other marks, such as
commas, dashes, apostraphes, etc., are not accepted in the
saving function for the title of the document.
This was not a problem previously.
I am running MS Office Professional Suite 97 on Windows
2000 Pro.
Previously I ran the the Office suite with Windows 98 2nd
Edition, and then with Windows 2000.
At this point I had to f-disk my system and reload
everything. The only thing that has changed is a
different Windows 2000. What is wrong.
I have been out of work for over 2 years (not by volition
and not for lack of continuous effort) and cannot afford
to upgrade any software.
Someone suggested that my Office software might be an MSDN
version of software but that is not indicated on the CD.
In either case, saving the title name was never an issue.
I have no viruses or any such problem. I need this to
work correctly. What has gone wrong.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
