word problem with paste

word hangs after working ok. using office 2003 since it was released and now
all of a sudden it hangs up when trying to paste from an email. i have
cleaned up the computer, ran virus checker, spy checker, defrag and office
updates. it worked for a day and then hung up again, can anyone help?

Try using Edit, PasteSpecial, Plain Text.
