I am starting a new thread to try to see if anyone has come up with a
solution for the "not enough memory or disk space to run word" Problem ?
I've tried everything suggested that I can find on Microsoft...and no
luck...still can't open Word...HELP???

The error is a wild card used by Windows when it doesn't actually know what
is wrong. This is usually a symptom of a corrupt normal.dot or a corrupt
printer driver.

Try going through this FAQ for help diagnosing this problem.

http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProblemsStartingWord.htm

If that fails, please let us know the versions of Word and Windows and if
they are patched up to date. Is this happening when you try to open Word?
What happens when you start in Safe Mode?

OK...thank you so much for your help so far, but the FAQ route didn't work.
I'm running XP Pro, sp3, patched up-to-date, MOfc Word 2007, v 12.0
and no ...starting in Safe Mode rendered the same message upon trying to
open Word. "not enough memory or disk space to open Word"
any ideas on what next?

I note that you are running two threads on this problem. This is causing
great inconvenience as I have to keep switching between them to see what has
been accomplished. Please refer to the previous thread and drop this one.
