word problem

hi
i m using windows 2000 professional.and i install office
2000.when i use MS word then often suddenly an error
message appear and then word do not responding.
and now when i open word then suddenly system is restart.
i uninstall office 2000 and install XP then problem still
is when i using word the system is restart other wise
other software execute properly
plz help me i have send many mails but there is no reply
from MS office news group
