Word pull-down menu oddity

My sister is having something weird happen on her home pc.
Windows 2000 Pro, and I believe she is using Word 2000.
When she selects the "Insert - Picture" pull-down menu,
multiple copies of "Clip Collection" object appears on the
menu. She says it started out with just a couple about a
year ago (!!), and has since multiplied.

She is running the latest McAfee AntiVirus, but I am not
sure of which Windows/Office Updates she's done.

Anyone know what may be causing this?
Thanks in advance,

Val

You can delete these by using Ctrl+Alt+- key. This brings up a think black
bar. Be VERY careful as any menu item you click on will be deleted. Hover
the bar over the Insert Menu until it opens, then move it down and hover the
Picture option and then move it onto one of the unwanted items and click on
it to delete it. Repeat until all the unwanted items are removed.

I'm not sure why it is happening.
