Word Quits Unexpectedly

Hi guys,

Whenever I click close on the last document I was using in word, The
whole application closes, this is happening both when i click the
close icon and when i click close in the file menu.

I was thinking that a good way forward might be to re-install office,
but I thought I'd ask if anyone had the same problem.
