Word quits when I c/p from a notebook doc to a regular doc!

I took a ton of notes (including tons of verbatim quotes) in Notebook
view, intending to c/p them into my paper (which is in page layout
view) when I wrote it. But when I try to do that it crashes Word!
Every time! (At least I learned to save before I tried to c/p after
the first couple of times. Grrrr.) I already converted the notebook
doc into page layout view, but that didn't fool it into working.

Am I going to have to RE-TYPE all the data that I already spent hours
typing? Or is there a way to get around this?

Hi Heath,

When you change the view from Note Book to Page Layout Data will not get
affected ,
I wanted to know why are trying to C/p IOs it creating one more documents if
yes then you can do save as and rename the same .

It's supposed to work, cause I just tried it. Try the corrupt document fixes
(on a copy):

(hit reload a few times in Safari, if that doesn't work, try Explorer)

Mahesh,
I was writing a paper - I took notes on the text and typed out all the
quotes I wanted to use in the paper in the original notebook doc and
then started drafting in another doc, intending to c/p the quoted
material (that I had already typed out) into the draft when needed.
It looks like the original doc was just corrupt b/c Daiya's advice
fixed the problem.

Oh, sorry - It was the one about saving in HTML and then re-saving as
document - I guess it stripped out whatever was causing the
corruption, and I didn't lose any information.
