Word - "recent Documents"

to sale resent document' under Office button I was told to try "Office, Word
Options, Advance, Display and make sure its not set at "0" - I set my at
6-then 12 - 18 and 'recent documents disappear. Is there a way that works.

When you make a selection, the history starts over. Once you set to 6, it
would have start listing with teh next document you opened and build upto to
six entries. Simply changing teh number to display will not backtrack and
display files previously worked on.
