Word Reference

Can I do refernces of certain numbers or words (sentences) between Microsoft
Word files? For example, I have two files: A and B. They are completely
different in text, but have only one thing in common - a number. Is it
possible to make a reference from file A to file B so that if I change a
number in file A, that very same number would automatically change in file B?

Simplest way is to copy the desired text from one document and in the other
document, use Paste>Special and paste as a Link. That will actually insert
a Link field. Another way is to use an IncludeText field.
