Hello,

I have to reorganze a word document that has been created an unkown creator.

1. There is a gap on some pages. I need to remove this gaps. I'm trying to
do this with del button. but gap is staying and the cursor is going next
page first capital.
Is there a way for removing this gaps?
2. I need to insert page numbers on every seperate parts of the documents.
But when I insert pages numbers to cover pages it isn't heritage to other
pages. or 'total number of pages start from the = total number of pages - 1'.

Thak you very much for your
Could you advise a way to manage this numbering problem?

Thanks for your appreciations...

In order to "remove gaps" you must first determine what is responsible for
them. In order to do that you'll need to display the non-printing characters
by clicking the ¶ button on the Standard Toolbar, or keying Command+8.

For a full explanation of what they mean have a look at:

I'm replying to your 2nd point separately because it is a different issue...
In all probability you're having trouble with the page numbers because of
Section Breaks in the document. Don't worry about the page numbering for
now. Once you get the other issue straightened out you'll be better be able
to deal with page numbering - any changes you make now may very well have to
be dealt with again later.
