Word repeated data entry

Can someone please help me and let me know how I can
input a name into a document many times over. I have a
document which I need to edit and repeatedly copy the
same name into a number of locations within the document,
how do I do this automatically.

You could, as Jesse suggests, enter the name as a custom document property,
then use a DocProperty field to insert it in the document. Whenever you
change the text of the property and update fields, the name will be changed
in the document.
