Word right justify spreading first letter of word

In Word 2000 with the latest service pak for Windows
server 2000 we are having a problem with a gap in the
words towards the end of the line, the words look like
this "l etter" with a gap to evenly spread the
justification on the page.
I have played around with teh cpmpatibility options but no
luck
Can anyone help.

Hi Carol

This may be a problem with the printer driver. Go to the web page for the printer manufacturer and download the latest printer
driver.
