Word Runtime Error Message

Have just started receiving the following message when I try to open ANY word
docs, old, new, from the net, excel and PPT working just fine. What is this
and how can I fix it? Thanks.

Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library
Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\WINWORD.EXE
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
