Word Runtime Error

Hi. I don't know what's going on, but I was typing
something up in Word and all of a sudden I got this error
message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 10
\Winword.exe
abnormal program termination

Word then shuts down. I open it back up and try to use
Auto-Recover and it crashes and gives me the above error
again, then shuts down again. I can start the document
all over again, but I've never had any problems before
and I just wonder what's going on. Any ideas what the
problem could be?
