After installing Acrobat 7 or Adobe Creative Suite Word fails to start and
gives the following error message:
Dialog title: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 10\Winword.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the applications support team for more information.
If a VBA add-in that I wrote, and that was working on the same system
without error before the Adobe programs were installed, is removed from the
Word Startup folder Word starts normally and the add-in can be started
manually.
The first instance was on: Windows 2000 SP4, Word 2000 SP3, Adobe Acrobat
7.0 Pro.
The second was on Windows XP, Office XP (Word 2002), Adobe Creative Suite
CS2.
Any ideas?
Regards
