WORD SAVE ONLY/THEN PROMPTS DO YOU WANT TO RECOVERY LATER THANK YOU SO MUCH
FOR ANY FEEDBACK!!!
When I write in word, approx. 80% of the time, my document will go into read
only mode. I can minimize it, and the original document will be under it.
However, when ever I go to shut down my computer I get a prompt that says,
"the document recovery task pane contains some recovered files that have not
been opened. would you like to view these files the next time you start
word?" I always press yes option "i would like to view these files later" but
am afraid they are taking up a lot of space, and slowing down my computer
quite a bit.

You've landed in a discussion group for users of Mac versions of Word. Mac
versions differ variously from PC versions. Although several people here use
both PCs and Macs and may give you an answer soon, it's likely that more
