WORD - Saving files

We are having a problem with saving a file. If we
created a new doc and save it, AND then go back into that
same doc and type some add'l info and try to save, we are
unable to save. The file has somehow changed into a read-
only file! This is happening on only one of our
machines. We have check the security tab and we Do Not
have the read only box checked. What else can we check or
change. Please e-mail me with suggestions. Thanks

I am having the exact same problem since I got Office XP
Professional. We are also having problems in Excel. I
just posted my question to the board before seeing yours.
If you get a response, could you forward a copy to me.
