Word Search is missing things

I have a user who claims that when she runs a Find in Word 2K, it doesn't
always find all the occurrences of a word. Now, I could assume she's
misspelling or something, but she's describing what she's doing and it seems
correct. (I'm in Dallas, she's in Boston). Plus, she's got a PhD, so I'd
like to be able to assume that she can follow directions to some degree. She
also says that this happened in the past and that "someone" fixed it for
her. But no one else on the IT team recalls such a thing.

Can anyone out there offer any insight on this and how to solve the problem?

Go with your first assumption (the 'or something' is probably right --
matching case? special characters?). A PhD is no assurance of anything. And
she is in Boston, after all.
