When I perform a word search on my website it produces the
following error:
"Error from search: can't open the word hash file
d:\inetpub\sites\
www.samplingplans.com\web\_vti_txt\default.wti\All.dct"
What does it mean?

PS: I use FP2000 with a dialup connection to the website
provider. I recently switched providers and went from a Unix to
a Windows machine.
Try opening the site in FrontPage and recalculating the
hyperlinks.
When I try to connect to the site with FrontPage to recalculate
hyperlinks, I get the following error message:
"Accessing HTTP servers requires 32-bit TCP/IP networking, which
is not installed or may be mis-configured. Would you like to see
help on how to install it?"
I checked my dialup properties of Win98SE and TCP/IP is installed.
When I first published my website with FP2000 to the current
windows server, I was able to then connect with FP.
What could be causing this error?
Advice will be appreciated, Stan Hilliard
Are you running McAfee Firewall?
No. I use ZoneAlarm firewall. I shut it down and that didn't make
any difference.
A probably unrelated thing: when I shot down the firewall I got an
error message:
VSMON caused an invalid page fault in
module <unknown> at 0000:ffffffff.
Stan:
It seems the current version of ZoneAlarm is causing havoc with some
FrontPage users - it did with me - I could not open any sites on my
local PC. You may want to try uninstalling the version of ZoneAlarm
you currently have and installing an older version - here's where
you can get them:
ZoneAlarm Pro:

ZoneAlarm (free):
