Hi everyone,
I have Word 2003 and when I access the short keys:
ALT + T to access the Tools submenu but it does not work. What happen is that
When I do ALT+T(Tools) and press W (Word counts) - it will take me to
Windows. Or ALT+T and A (for AutoCorrect Options) - it will take me to Edit
instead.
Any help would be appriciated.

Sorry, I had a typo error.
When do ALT+T and A (for AutoCorrect Options) - it will take me to Table on
the main menu bar instead.

Press and release Alt key, THEN press T, Then press A. (your alt key is
getting passed to the A and messing things up)

Then either the Alt key is sticking down (broken or dirty) or you have
turned on "Sticky Keys" (found under Accessibility Options in Control
panel), but sound more like a keyboard problem.

Hi Bob,
That is a possibility but the ALT + works for other menus like ALT + F(File),
ALT + E(Edit), ALT+V(View) and so on just except ALT + T where I can't
access the submenu.

Can you do Alt+F and then A, for Save As?

That's real odd. How about trying a Tools reset. R-click the toolbar
area, pick Customize, then Commands tab, Rearrange Commands button, set
"Menu bar" to Table, and click the "Reset" Button.

If that doesn't do the trick, I would go for "Help, Detect and Repair".
