Word should have an option that queues all of your previous saved points for
future reference. Many times a person will save something on accident and
will be unable to go back to their original document.
The queue could also be used in conjunction with a timed auto save. For
example, someone sets their Office program to auto save every 5 minutes, and
the referenced name would be Document name MSFT1 ,2, 3 etc. This will protect
people who have written documents from losing information in case there is a
computer crash or loss of power. Any saves by the actual user would be named
whatever they choose.
