Word shouldn't crash when I open the Hyperlink dialogue

Steps to duplicate (my situation):
1) Have an open Word Document.
2) Create a table
3) Enter some data in the table
4) Highlight the first word in the first column
5) Right-click and choose Hyperlink
6) Go to another running application, like IE.
7) Copy a URL to the clipboard
8) Try to go back to Word. It won't respond. The only thing I can do is
close the dialogue and it crashes Word completely.

I wouldn't categorize this is a Suggestion or a 'wish'. You should be
able to perform the following steps without difficulty in Word:

1) Have an open Word Document.
2) Create a table
3) Enter some data in the table
4) Highlight the first word in the first column
5) Right-click and choose Hyperlink
6) Go to another running application, like IE.
7) Switch back to Word (no need to copy the URL- Word will pickup the
URL automatically)
8) Click OK to insert the hyperlink

If you are encountering a crash when using hyperlinks then typically
the first troubleshooting step is to clear your Temporary Internet
files and History. Have you tried this yet?
