Word shut downs on open

Hi. Sometimes, and I don't know why, when I open some word files Microsoft
Word sudently shut downs. I thought that the problem was on files, but if I
open those files in another PC there's no problem.

Any reason for that happens?

At the time Word closes, are you selecting a document by clicking it in the
Windows Taskbar?

Hi. No. I only do one of those two things. Click twice on the document or I
open the Word and after I go to open file option.

Three quick checks:

1. Make sure that if you have any mapped drives they are all valid,
available and working
2. Try re-registering Word. From the Start, Run dialog, type in

winword /r

and press enter.
3. Make sure that you have the latest printer driver from the manufacturer's
support site and then delete and reinstall the printer.
